Could you please explain ? Is putting into play a unit from discard pile the thing that changed everything ?

I've posted something in the Rules section about Clanrat Clawleader :

We (french translaters) saw the card and asked FFG that a part was missing in the text ("from hand/discard pile/etc."). Here's their answer :
Citation :
#23: Clanrat Clawleader should say ""put into play from your hand as an attacker."
I believe the polish team who wrote the latest FAQ wanted to correct the card (though something was missing), and therefore put some major changes on the text.

in FAQ 3.0 you can play Clanrat from discard or hand but after attack this unit goes into bottom of your deck (sic!)
Regionals in Poland (Kraków 18.01.2014) 452452108  are good without this combo Very Happy

I wasn't on this tournament because I was sick unfortunately Sad But I think there were a lot of Skaven in top because of only 3 DE on tournament (I don't no why, because they are still good). I agree that Kreaken shouldn't be on RL (the problem is Infiltrator with Kraken).
Citation :

I believe that this allusion is ridiculous. Virgo was on the last (8th) place in top after swiss, and has had a lot of luck (for example in semi-final between him and raskoks, throw the dice had decided to win).
So it's unfortunate coincidence and by the way reason to suspicion.
Anyway, as Germanus sad, Clanleader is a problem (should be like you say - from hand) and maybe Chittering Horde should be on RL.
I talked with Egrimm about your vision of FAQ, and it seems to be good.
I wish you to create good FAQ and please don't make any conspiracy theories like Maikh.

Yes. i'm agree with that. Especialy when Warpstone is free for Skaven.

We recently spoke also about :

- Iron Discipline Errated with 'target unit YOU control'
- Liber Mortis 1 by deck ( as Pl Faq )
- Desertion Errated with 'neutral card that doesn't Share affiliation with capital'
- No restricted upron Hellbron and Krakken.
- Scar crown fragment limited once per turn
- Maybe no restriction upon Snares - and maybe ( but it's a BIG maybe ) put again call the Eagles no limited for HE.
- Snootling Invasion - Limited AND restricted
and for Sure : - Summoning of Chaos - Chaos Only.

All this is in discussion, and we 'd like to propose it to FFG for an Official FAQ. I think this can be good when we join with Polish people to apply a commun FAQ. But i probably dream, and polish community will probably not change theyr mind...but you can transmite the message.

Bring Warpstone back to its original ruling (limit 1 per deck + restricted), so you won't have to do something to Chittering.

Useless... Anytime a card enters an out-of-play zone, it has no memory, so it doesn't remember the "once per turn".

I wish you to create good FAQ and please don't make any conspiracy theories like Maikh.

Sigh ... look, Argoth, here's what happened from my perspective, and everybody who's interested can follow along on the FFG FAQ 3.0 thread:

-  Virgo presented the FAQ and offered to "explain every change and our reasonings." (Dec 27)
- I explained in quite a lot of detail why I thought (and think) that the Skaven changes were a bad idea (Dec 30)
- my criticism was brushed aside, with the explanations 'you're not forced to use the FAQ 3.0' and 'we know better because polish meta' (I'm paraphrasing here, of course  Wink  ) (Dec 30)
- some more talking, mostly at cross-purposes, about whether the Dark Elven nerf is too strong (early January)
- on Jan 19 I made the post that Djibi cited above, and the important part is the result for the Dark Elven and for the Skaven decks. The little barb in Virgo's direction was admittedly not a nice thing to do, but too funny to resist. I'm a weak man.

Calling this a conspiracy theory is a bit too strong for my taste. My motivation was to demonstrate that my immediate criticism of the Skaven boost might not have been so unreasonable after all. In less exalted words, I simply enjoyed being right. And again, the main point is not Virgo's win, but the extremely strong placement of all Skaven decks.

I hope that we still have many fun games ahead of us with the new Hidden Kingdom cards, and I'd hate for this squabble to sour the european WHI scene that you helped considerably by organizing the OCTGN tournaments. Which I enjoy immensely in spite of doing so bad each and every time  Smile.

So, peace?

Useless... Anytime a card enters an out-of-play zone, it has no memory, so it doesn't remember the "once per turn".

i Should Say "limited"....Sorry.

For The Skaven Boost, i'm not so sure that is soooo much a bad thing. If theyr were 5 Orcs in Top 10, nobody had screamed, but here after a FAQ, it's look like an abberation. And as Argoth said, it's was "hot game" - so not IMBA at all. I think we need a new big tournament for juge about Skaven and global balance.
My point of view is still the same :
- Warpstone free is an excellent way to put the Skaven faction as real competitive Deck.
- But Clan rat action should be only from the Hand - its' already strong.

But this tournament show for me is the big mistake About Dark Elf.

Peace of course Smile WHI community is created by great people and we can't distroy it. Moreover we should cooperate (I'm sad a bit becouse of Polish FAQ team made "Polish" but not "European" FAQ without support of our friends from Germany and France, but our publisher forced that on polish players Sad ). So I didn't want to make any shitstorm Very Happy

As regards Virgo...he's also weak man, so "hot talk" between you and him is inevitable Razz
By the way, Virgo's deck from tournament:
http://deckbox.org/sets/462922
He didn't play with any Dwarfs and any DE Shocked ...so you see why he has won.

Concerning DE. You really think they're weak now??? They can't play without Crone? This is only build for this race? Please, don't make me laugh Wink What was when there wasn't Crone? DE was weak? What about Hekarti, Corsair, Temple of Spite, Shattered Thought Shocked , Bloodlust Shocked , Pleasure Cults, Skulking Informant Shocked , Raiding Ships, Hate, Corsair Tower... I can enumerate long time.

Crone on RL is a necessity. Just like Snears must be limited (isn't it Egrimm Very Happy )
But I agree as for Kraken. Infiltrator should have limited, and Kraken the same. And problem is resolved Wink

There were few DE in Cracow because players fought like you: "DE are weak bocause of restricted Crone...bla bla". They were afraid to take this race. And it was mistake I think.

i have a really similar deck (than virgo) (i play innovation rather than warpstone excavation and the skaven quest rather than corb) with the skaven faction and really you can burn a zone T2 and finish the game T3

i don't even imagine the power of this faction with warpstone excavation

so how do you handle skaven in orc : troll vomit / smash'em ? but if u don't have those cards in hand...

for my part i don't think that skaven faction need such a boost (warpstone exca), but it's just my opinion  Wink Wink

i hope that our community could reach to a common FAQ for all  Very Happy

but Hellbron was so strong that she win all tournament ? Especily when Liber Mortis is Limited one per deck ? Now the possibility of building in De is resctrited to Old School Hekarti and discard only. Your FAQ just remove from the game Mill deck...
Wurzag limited was an evidence cause of so few restricted card card for Orc. But the Dark Elf one now is a bite too long !!

But anyway, if we can't have a commun FAQ, this is not a real matter after all.

Lobber, raider + pillage (1 turn)
Gett outta...
Vomit, little vomit...
And many other
I played with 3 skaven on this tournament:
vs Virgo (2:0); vs Wilk (2:1); vs Raskoks (1:1) Not a big problem. Dwarfs are more stronger agains Skaven (my life, Spite...)

i'm still not convinced that warpstone was so urgent for skaven rather than other limitation
but with so much people in poland we'll see month after month the result of this faction  Wink
